- Jordan inaugurated its first solar-powered charging station for electric cars at El Hassan Science City in 2012
- Jordan Issued a legal framework for licensing electric vehicle charging stations, set tariff, in addition to incentives such as exempting EV import and registration taxes
- In 2020, more than 20,000 electric vehicles (EVs) were circulating on Jordanian streets – and the trend is consistently increasing.
