Amman, October 6, 2021: His Excellency Mr. Ismail Aramaz, Turkey Ambassador to Jordan, and Mr. Murat Albayrak, Turkish Embassy’s chief commercial counselor, visited Jordan Exports to discuss enhancing bilateral trade. The Ambassador mentioned recent and future high-level political visits from Turkey to Jordan, crucial transport links, and growth potential.

Mr. Mohammad ElShanti, Jordan Exports’ CEO, emphasized the importance of the occasion to strengthen Jordanian exports through value-chain integration with Turkish involvement, co-manufacturing, realizing the services industries’ potential, and learning from success stories.

Additionally, the valuable bilateral tourist links and Turkish intermediaries’ and traders’ proficiency in other markets could be used for mutually beneficial business. Both sides agreed to follow up on the highly constructive interchange in an upcoming meeting and develop a bilateral businesspeople task force to discuss future collaborations
