Home care in Vietnam registered a robust CAGR of 8.8% for the review period 2013-18. The rapid expansion of the home care sector in Vietnam can be attributed to increasing consumer confidence, backed by strong economic growth, continued demographic expansion, and rising income levels. As a result, the total market size in value terms for home care products in Vietnam was estimated at US$1.2 billion (VND 27,255 billion) in 2018. In 2018, the home care sector in Vietnam comprised laundry care (60.5%), dishwashing products (14.7%), surface care products (9.4%), home insecticides (9.3%), toilet care products (2.6%), air care products (2.1%), polishes (1.0%) and bleach (0.4%).
