JORDAN EXPORTS (JE) organized a meeting for Jordanian exporters and distinguished owners of companies and institutions from Jordan’s industrial sector. The discussion centered on identifying key global markets where Jordan holds substantial opportunities to export their goods and services there. Foremost among these markets was the United States, with a focus on establishing connections with major retail chains such as the retail giant Walmart.
The meeting also discussed the necessity of establishing dedicated warehouses for Jordanian goods within the American market. Such infrastructure would enable swift delivery to potential buyers within minimal timeframes. Moreover, some technical and legal challenges potentially confronting Jordanian exporters in this regard were discussed.
To emphasize what has been discussed, JE currently is organizing a trade mission to the United States on the sidelines of the Fancy Food trade show. It focuses on exploring B2B opportunities with major companies and international potential buyers.
This initiative aligns with the Economic Modernization Vision, which calls for enhancing economic growth through a set of guiding principles, notably expanding into global export markets.
