Overview of Job Description:
Jordan Exports is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization as the Kingdom’s flagship institution for Export Promotion and Development.
Purpose of the Role:
The CEO will be responsible for positioning Jordan Exports as a high-impact national platform that drives the competitive growth of Jordanian enterprises in local, regional, and international markets. The role focuses on delivering measurable export growth, strengthening value chains, and enabling export-oriented enterprises across priority sectors.
Scope of Work:
1. Strategic Leadership & Governance:
• Lead Jordan Exports in alignment with
its mandate, vision, and national economic priorities.
• Develop and implement a rolling multi-year business plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
• Provide strategic advice, performance data, and periodic reports to the Board.
• Establish robust performance measurement systems to track impact and results.
2. Export & Enterprise Development:
• Oversee studies, research, and policies supporting export competitiveness and enterprise growth.
• Lead the design and delivery of high-quality technical assistance and export support programs.
• Strengthen industrial and service-sector value chains and export-oriented investments.
• Promote linkages between Jordanian companies and international buyers and markets.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Representation:
• Lead national, regional, and international outreach to position Jordanian enterprises globally.
• Act as the principal representative and spokesperson of Jordan Exports.
• Build strategic partnerships with public institutions, private sector stakeholders, and international partners.
4. Institutional & Operational Management:
• Manage operations, human resources, finances, and internal systems with a focus on excellence and transparency.
• Foster a high-performance organizational culture and attract specialized talent.
• Ensure sound financial management, budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Oversee monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems to assess program impact.
