Mohammad ElShanti

Jordan Exports’ CEO is an accomplished executive and a prolific entrepreneur with over 25 years of extensive experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, digital transformation, and technology innovation at multinational management consulting firms and technology big-league companies. Mr. ElShanti has joined Jordan Exports to realize one of Jordan’s visions for the future: creating novel international opportunities for Jordanian businesses.  

 

In his professional career, Mr. ElShanti has gained strong capabilities in transforming businesses and solving their toughest challenges, from strategy through implementation, utilizing innovative approaches, best practice methodologies, and thought leadership, and a specialty focus on select industries, such as technology, aviation, manufacturing, oil & gas, services, and the public sector. His impressive portfolio includes big names like Accenture, KPMG Consulting, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Hewlett Packard Global Services, IBM Global Services, and the SAir Group (SwissAir). 

 

As an entrepreneur, Mr. ElShanti successfully built, managed, and co-invested in a diverse portfolio of technology, marcomms, branding and design startups and scaleups at various stages. In addition, he served as the CEO and chief architect of AJ Consulting, leading the design, development, and implementation efforts of several internationally acclaimed, award-winning technology products and services. Moreover, he has successfully led high-profile business planning services, outsourcing, M&A transactions, private equity investments, and fund management. 

 

Admired as a progressive and insightful leader, Mr. ElShanti is also known for his ability to create and encourage a positive and harmonious atmosphere for his team, leading by example, inspiring personal growth, and allowing individual talents to thrive and produce the most impactful results for complex business challenges and high-profile projects.   

 

He believes in leaving his mark by fostering innovation and contributing to the advancement of Jordanian society, both in local and international arenas. He is a member and judge of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) and a four-time winner of the Webby Awards, “the internet highest honor” (The New York Times). He also contributes and serves as a senator at the WBAF (World Business Angels Investment Forum) – an affiliated partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) – and is a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF). 

 

Mohammad holds an MBA in Strategic Technology Investments and Finance from the Canterbury Business School – University of Kent (UK), graduating Magna Cum Laude (1993), and a BSc in Engineering with a specialty in Structural and Computer-Aided Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (1992).
