She has worked in several sectors, namely banking (PMO), clean technology, health care, and export promotion. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in project management, export enhancement, stakeholder engagement, critical evaluation, communication, and leadership.
Celebrated as a forward thinker when designing and implementing projects, Mirna is passionate about female business ownership and Jordanian business promotion. With Jordan Exports, Mirna aspires to contribute to initiatives that can change the Jordanian economic scenario by implementing an efficient project management culture and supporting Jordan Exports’ mission to deliver effective solutions with impactful results.
Among Mirna’s outstanding accomplishments, the establishment of the first of its kind Women Export Unit (Wexport) in Jordan is one of the most noteworthy. She has also partnered with the Business and Professional Women Association (BPWA) and led several high-profile, successful initiatives to promote Jordanian Women-Owned Business exports, including the ITC SheTrades-MENA chapter.
A graduate of Jordan University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (2011), Mirna Al-Fakhouri is a Project Management Professional, PMP® (PMI), a Certified Strategic Planner/Export Specialist from Missouri State University and the Institute of Professional Managers (IPM, USA), and a Certified Export Management Consultant by the Amman Chamber of Industry and the Jordanian Ministry of Labor.
